Candle Scents

February 13 - named after my stepmom, Diane. She has always been patient and understanding and I'm proud to call her my stepmom.

February 21 - named after my Uncle Herbie. He is kind and humble, a proper gentleman. His wisdom and integrity are what amaze me the most.

April 11 - named after my husband, Cris. Loved you then, love you still, always have, always will. He is the best part of me and I love the life we've built together.

April 14 - named after myself! This company started with $100, a dream, and a couple of friends encouraging me to share my love for all things creative and clean.

May 19 - named after my mom, Eleanor. She is strong, perseveres through every challenge, believes in me, and loves me no matter what. She means the world to me.

June 6 - named after my cousin, Brooke. We can laugh until we cry and have built so many memories over the years that I will cherish forever.

6 eighteen - named after my Gram, Mary. She is from Austria so we grew up calling her Grandma Sauerkraut. Her birthday is actually December 5th, but her address was 618 and I see it everywhere, almost on a daily basis. That's how I know she's always with me letting me know everything is going to be okay.

June 28 - named after my Aunt Lilly. She has a laugh I could recognize from a million miles away and has supported and encouraged me through all of life's journeys.

August 4 - named after my cousin, Jared. The only boy in our cousin group. He is strong-willed and determined. He never forgets my birthday and always finds time for a quick "check in" message.

September 8 - named after my sister, Lauren. I can always count on her for a good laugh. She is strong and resilient. She is crazy smart and never gives up on me.

October 17 - My Wedding Day! The absolute best day. I pictured all the Fall vibes, but woke up to 43 degrees and rain and I still wouldn't change a thing about that day.

December 11 - named after my dad, Lawrence. I look just like him. He has always supported me even when I moved 27 hours away. It's less than 4 hours by plane, but he won't fly! Good thing I do! He loves me and knows how to act crazy when he feels the need to embarrass us.

December 29 - named after my best friend, Karyn. Who knew that two college girls would be by each other's side through all that life throws at you? Taking every college class together, starting our teaching careers at the same school, and standing beside me on my Wedding Day. I am thankful for her every day.

December 31 and January 19 Two Birthdays Combined and named after Courtney and her husband, James. Sometimes, you're blessed to call a co-worker a forever friend. Being locked out of her house one night was the night that determined our friendship. A friendship filled with trust and encouragement. We have prayed over each other through the years and know that messages will keep us connected until we plan another adventure where we can meet up and continue like we never left.

October 16 and May 7 Two Birthdays Combined and named after Cerena and her husband, Jared. I met Cerena when I moved to North Dakota and she has been in my corner since Day 1. I have never known a more sincere girl's girl who will cheer on your dreams as if they were her own. She supports and uplifts me all the time and the sisterhood we have created is unbreakable. I am successful because of her selflessness, the way she promotes my products and the creative ways she displays them in her store. I aim to be more like Cerena every day.

November 10 was our first date. I knew that night I was going to marry Cris. Here we are many years later, and I can still remember that night as if it was yesterday.

October 17 was the day we said, "Yes" to Happily Ever After. Through the good, the bad, and the ugly, I never regret this "Yes" and the constant Cris is in my life each and every day.

December 31 I came to North Dakota to visit Cris and he wanted to take me to Red Lodge, Montana. We got caught in a snow storm and had to stop at a hotel for the night. We spent New Year's Eve binge watching Making A Murderer in a hotel room in Billings.

June 28 was the day we closed on our North Dakota house. We have made this house our home and love the life we've built here.
